The City of Timmins strives to meet the needs of people with disabilities to ensure fair and equitable access and participation in the City’s programs, services, facilities, and employment.

The sections below provide residents with an opportunity to submit comments, concerns, suggestions, or feedback related to accessibility. These categories are intended to help direct your submission to the appropriate area for review. If you are unsure which category best fits your comment or concern, please contact Service Timmins. A Service Timmins Agent will be pleased to assist you and ensure your feedback is directed appropriately.

The City of Timmins welcomes feedback regarding barriers to accessibility within the following areas: City facilities, Parks, Audible Pedestrian Signals, Paratransit Services, and Accessible Taxi Services. Residents are encouraged to report accessibility barriers, concerns, or suggestions for improvement in these sections. Your feedback helps the City identify and address barriers, improve accessibility, and enhance access to municipal services, programs, and public spaces for persons with disabilities in our community.

We also provide an Accessibility Feedback tab where residents can submit general comments, suggestions, or feedback regarding accessibility in the City of Timmins. All feedback submitted through this form is received by the City Clerk’s Department for review. When appropriate, submissions may be forwarded to the relevant department for review and action. If you request a response and provide your contact information, City staff will follow up with you regarding your submission. Feedback submitted without a request for response will still be reviewed and considered as part of the City’s ongoing efforts to identify and address accessibility barriers.

Thank you for helping us create a more accessible and inclusive City of Timmins.
